Guardian Pharmacy of NWFL recently attended and sponsored Florida Assisted Living Federation of America’s (Florida ALFA) annual Advocacy Days. Community directors and executives from across the state spent two days at the Capitol discussing important matters that impact the quality of life for seniors residing in assisted living communities.
There were many different sectors of the long-term care industry represented at the Capitol. We at Guardian NWFL believe it’s very important to be part of these discussions that could potentially shape the way pharmacies and the long-term care industry progresses. These conversations are also key in improving the quality of care for our seniors.
We were honored to be able to attend this event and would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to Gail Matillo and the staff at Florida ALFA for including us, as well as to our state legislators for their time in listening to us.
